Well its official July 1st. 2023 the new law went into effect, which allows all Florida residents to Carry Concealed without a permit. But before you dismiss the need of a Florida Concealed carry class, keep in mind that this law has only removed the requirement of the very basic safety course and sadly the the background check.
If you are planning on carrying a gun not only should you get some training but this law does not protect you from not having an understanding of the do's and don'ts and the laws outlined in Florida Statute 790.
So do your research, learn the rules of Concealed Carry.
Better yet take a class form a certified firearms instructor. Not only will you be better prepared but having the License still has some benefits.
